Welcome to Hint’s & Tips
…little pieces of advice that I hope will build your confidence and make your art practice easier
Many years of creating art and teaching have given me a treasure trove of useful information that I will happily share with you here on a regular basis to help you improve your skills and knowledge further. Easy to follow, practical guidance from getting started with art, to information about materials, and learning to value curiosity and play over perfection.
As this new section develops I also hope to share with you some simple exercises and ideas that will encourage you to practice, loosen up, explore, and discover the enjoyment of simply having a go. Everything here is offered freely and with encouragement, so you can easily read it online or download the printable PDFs as reference for you to return to whenever you need.
