Purchasing & Shipping

How is my payment handled?

Payments are usually taken through Paypal in British Pounds Sterling. You don’t need to have a Paypal account to purchase, you can use their platform to pay with your usual debit or credit card. I don’t store any of your debit/credit card details.

If you would like to pay via bank transfer which many UK customers prefer, then this can be arranged through email. Please contact me for details.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, of course. You can secure the painting of your choice with a 50% deposit and then spread the remainder of the cost over the following 2 months. This is an informal agreement made with trust at no extra cost to you.

The painting will be shipped to you when the final payment has been made. Usual shipping costs and return policy apply.

How soon will I receive my painting?

Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 7 days following full payment. Within the UK parcels are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please let me know if you’d like your parcel tracked at time of ordering as this will affect cost of shipping.

If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for overnight deliveries.

Can I collect my painting from you directly?

Yes, of course. If you are local to Staffordshire or will be visiting the area and would like to call, then please contact me to arrange a convenient time.

Is shipping included in the price of the painting?

Yes, standard UK shipping is included in the price of the painting, however if an alternative shipping requirement is needed then an additional cost will likely be incurred.

Note: At the current time shipping costs are varying greatly due to the impact of Covid and Brexit, especially on air freight. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted, I reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale if need be.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. It might be that some locations are restricted and will need a bespoke courier service. If you feel this may be the case with your location, please message me and I can look into alternative shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside of the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for them.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?

I want you to be completely happy with your new painting, so I do offer a refund agreement.

If an original painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for carefully packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the painting has been safely returned, I will refund your payment within 14 days.

What if my painting arrives damaged?

All paintings are carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive it and it’s been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days including photographs of both the packaging as it arrived to you and of the damage to the painting itself. I will then discuss options with you directly.

Resolving issues like this may be more complicated with purchases of original paintings sent outside of the UK. However, please contact me via email and I will see what I can do to help.
