Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • All original artwork, photographs, images, written content, demonstrations, videos, downloadable resources and teaching materials on this website are owned by Jo Watson, unless otherwise stated, and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

  • Buying artwork does not transfer copyright. When you purchase an original painting or print, you are purchasing the physical artwork or print, not the right to reproduce, copy, publish or sell images of it. Copyright remains with the artist unless expressly transferred under a separate written agreement.

  • No artwork, image or other copyright-protected material may be copied, reproduced, scanned, republished, distributed, sold, adapted or used commercially without my prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

  • This includes using images of my artwork for products, publications, promotional material or other commercial purposes.

Teaching Materials & Creative Hub

  • The Creative Hub, workshops, retreats and online lessons may include demonstrations, photographs, written instructions, prompts, PDFs, videos and other learning resources created or provided by me.

  • These resources are intended to support your own personal creative practice. Unless a different licence is expressly stated, you may use them for your personal, non-commercial learning and enjoyment.

  • You must not copy, reproduce, share, distribute, upload, sell or republish these materials, or use them to create or deliver commercial teaching, workshops, courses or online lessons, without my prior written permission.

  • You are welcome to develop your own artistic skills and individual creative style. These terms protect my original content and materials, not ideas, techniques or artistic methods in themselves.
