Set alongside Coniston Water with the breathtaking backdrop of the Lake District fells beyond, this Retreat offers you the ideal place to sketch, paint, and reconnect with your art practice. Time away from everyday distractions to help you enliven your creativity and return home refreshed and inspired.

During our week together, you’ll have…

• Time to sketch from life (weather permitting), gathering inspiration from walks in the local landscape

• A quiet space to indulge in artistic practice…create a painting, play with new techniques, explore new ideas

• Dedicated time to focus on any stumbling blocks with the help and support of an experienced tutor, gaining a fresh perspective on your creative process

• Free time to relax and enjoy the company of other creative people, sharing ideas and experiences

• Time for quiet reflection and relaxation, away from the chores of everyday life and digital distractions

• Time for personal growth as an artist

If the weather turns, we are lucky to have exclusive use of this property’s onsite studio…a spacious, light-filled annex for uninterrupted creative time.

Your stay includes 4 nights in beautiful ensuite rooms, available as:

All meals are included:

• Buffet-style breakfast & lunch

• Two-course evening meal with wine

• Tea, coffee, and snacks available throughout the day

Please Note…Meals on retreats are home-cooked and designed to be nourishing and inclusive. I can usually cater for common preferences (such as vegetarian, vegan, or simple gluten-free), however I’m not a professional chef and I cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen at the venues or levels of cross-contamination control that may be required for certain medical conditions (such as coeliac disease or severe food allergies). If you have strict medical dietary requirements, please contact me before booking to discuss. My aim is for everyone to feel safe, cared for, and relaxed.
