With breathtaking Coniston Water right on our doorstep, this retreat offers the perfect chance to slow down, reconnect with your creativity, and enjoy the company of like-minded art lovers—free from the distractions of everyday life.
Over three full days, you’ll receive expert tuition and gentle guidance, focusing on:
Developing your sketchbook skills

Sketching and painting en plein air (weather permitting)
Experimenting with new ideas and techniques
Building confidence in your creative process
Whether you're a complete beginner or a more experienced artist looking to refresh and deepen your practice, this retreat provides supportive, relaxed, and encouraging surroundings for creative exploration. And if the weather takes a turn, we have exclusive use of the onsite studio—a light-filled, dedicated space perfect for continuing your work in comfort, whatever the forecast.
