Original Painting (signed and dated)
Acrylic & Ink on deep canvas | 16 x 32’ / 40 x 81 cm
Ready to hang, unframed (edges painted)
Inspired by peaceful walks around Trentham Gardens, this painting captures the view across the lake to a familiar pathway and the tall, distinctive trees that stand watch over the landscape.
A warm amber glow spreads across the sky, mirrored in the stillness of the lake below, while rich layers of indigo, deep blue, and aqua bring a cool contrast and depth. Created with layers of acrylic paint and ink that echo the reflections and quiet movement of water.
The warmth suggests the end of summer, a sense of peace and belonging in the landscape…a place revisited, remembered, and rooted in time.
‘Beneath an Amber Sky’ invites you to pause, to breathe, and to feel the same tranquility and connection found in the gardens themselves.
