You'll also discover the importance of tonal values in creating three-dimensional form, while being encouraged to experiment with a variety of materials and the unique marks they make to achieve different effects.

Adding Figures

Helping you simplify the human form and focus on key details that bring realistic figures to life through posture and movement.

Exploring scale, proportion, and spatial relationships with practical methods to help you confidently place figures within a scene.

Emphasising that less is often more, with guidance on using highlights and the vital role of shadows to create depth and dimension.
